Default IT Policy Question on 7520

Please Login to Remove!

I recently upgraded to a 7100i from a Nextel 7520, and realized what many others have after upgrading from a BES attached Blackberry... I can't remove the IT Policy.

I've used the search and realized that I need to associate the unit with another BES server and send a default IT Policy to it, which is fine... however, since I performed an upgrade on my unit, I no longer have wireless service for it, just the new 7100i.

Can the new IT policy be sent via USB or does it have to come over-the-air?

Any help is appreciated. The end goal is to be able to sell the old phone to pay for my upgrade, so if anyone is interested in it that can either reset the policy themselves after they recieve it, please drop me a line.

I'm almost at the point of just sending the unit off to

The only way you can remove an IT policy is to:

- contact the BES administrator have him remove the policy or have him push down a blank policy

- If you can't contach this person, your only other option is to contact your carrier and ask for an RMA.
