My daughter had lost her phone, I ordered her a new one which arrived without a SIM card. I was told to go to a TMobile store, buy a SIM and they would credit my account. When I called to have her new SIM activated, the girl put the new SIM on my line instead off my daughters. Long story short, my daughter and I both have new SIM's (free).

However, none of my 3rd party apps work. Email and browser works fine but I have no Ramble, no PD etc... They result in an Invalid Connection String everytime I try them.

Called TMO and was told to be patient and all will work eventually. Provisioning new SIM takes time. Up to 48 hours for it to work itself out. Does this sound right?

Yeah I was told that when I was with T Mobile, called a few times and everything finally worked out, moved to Nextel and haven't had a problem since. Good luck
