Default 7520 won't Auto set Time

Please Login to Remove!

I have a Nextel 7520... under Date/Time I have the Auto Time Set to "Enabled"... However, my phone never automatically sets the time...
I travel regularly and have to remember to manually change the time to the correct time zone when I turn the phone on....
To make matters worse, I think manually changing the time does something with my Calendar event function... because I have missed TWO FLIGHTS in the past month where the time I put for a flight acutally changed when I manually changed the time (I set the event for my flight from dallas to SLC when I was in Salt Lake... 3pm... then when I get to Dallas, I set my phone forward one hour... and my BB moves my flight time to 4pm.... I forgot that the return flight was actually 3pm... so when I show up at the airport the flight was leaving!!!)
My short term solution has been to write the flight time in the subject line...

Blackberry doesn't adjust your clock based on the physical location of the device. Its based on the time zone you've set on the device. As are your appointments.

Let's say that your device is based on Eastern Time, but you're in the Central time zone. You've got an appointment at noon CST. You would need to enter that appointment in as Eastern time (1pm).

Alternatively, change the time zone as you travel. When you arrive in a different time zone, set a reminder to manually change the zone. Don't manually adjust the clock--this is where the confusion lies....time zone adjustment only.
