Default GMail for Reliability and Spam Filtering

Please Login to Remove!

I am having two problems with my Blackberry e-mail and I'm thinking that incorporating GMail into the mix might solve both of them. First, I'm getting a lot of spam on my Blackberry as we currently don't have a server-side filter in place. Second, I'm not getting all of my messages. I'd say I'm maybe getting 60-70% of them. All of them show up in Outlook but not all of them make it to the Blackberry.

I want to keep the e-mail address jon at learnoutloud dot com. However, I'm wondering if somehow running this through GMail might improve things. My thought was the following:

-Set up GMail to receive all jon at learnoutloud dot com e-mail.
-Configure both my Blackberry and my Outlook to receive this e-mail. Because it's running through GMail the spam filtering would kick in plus maybe my messages would be more reliable.

I don't want to change e-mail addresses. I want to still use the jon at learnoutloud dot com e-mail addy. Is tihs possible?

Thanks!

Yes. Setup instructions are in the following GMAIL: should I forward or POP..
You'll find instructions on how to do it in that post.
