I'm not sure if this is just a pearl thig, but my blackberry just started to shut off randomly by itself, and when it shuts off the red LED light starts flashing for up to 5 minutes...
I've tried everything, i upgraded my software, i took the battery out nd put it back in, i took out the sim card... I dont kno wat else to do?

no not at all, and it has rarely been dropped.

Are you doing something that uses a lot of memory when it happens, like watching a video or scrolling through pictures?

That happened occaisionally with my Curve and I always th ought it had to do with running out of memory but I'm not sure.

Have you recently installed any new apps?

ummm i deleted most of my pics, and no i havent downloaded any new apps
