Default Help me! Bricked 8830

Please Login to Remove!

I flashed me BB 8830 to Metro PCS but for some reason I think the prl or something was corrupted and it bricked the phone and when I plugged it in it didn't register on the com ports. I troubleshooted the error and it said to uninstall and reinstall the ports, however, unfortunately after uninstalling the ports I cant reinstall them. Is there anyway to reinstall the com ports on my computer? Also, is there anyway to fix my bricked 8830? Thanks

Moved to General section.

Probably time to declare defeat and let the poor device rest in peace.

Dude, you uninstalled the ports on the pc?! Try restarting the pc and see if they come back to life. If not, you may have to re-install Windows. I do not envy you that task!

As for the BlackBerry, you might be able to run the flash to MetroPCS again once your pc is working. I don't know how to flash devices back to the original CDMA carrier, but I assume it can be done. What you cannot do is flash it to a different CDMA carrier other than the original.
