I have been given a 7290. When I back it up using Desktop Manager there appear to be files relating to an application that would store passwords etc. I have no icon for this application on my homescreen. Does my BB come with such an application that is "disabled"; and if so, how can i "enable" it?
Also when I use alt+esc to switch applications an icon entitled "message handler" appears. When I chose it, the machine locks up and requires the battery to be removed to re-start the machine. What is "message handler"

When you backup a 7290 using the backup/restore utility it should simply create an idp file on the local drive with the date as the name. What are you observing beyond this exactly?
