Default Calenders

I'm looking for some information on the Calender programs...

First of all - i really don't like the one on my blackberry - I don't like that when in month view it's really hard to see what days actually have events on it - when in weekly view you can just see the blocks of time that are booked without seeing what the event is, and you have to click on the event itself to see any details. I'm a mac user - I love ical - is there any apps for bb that have similar settings/view settings to ical?

Those issues aside - is there a way to share an entire calender with a bbm group? I'm on a sports team, and our team has a group and it would be nice to have a calender with all of our practices on it in our group but I haven't found a way to do that without doing each one individually... We practice 4-5 times a week 11 months of the year so that's kinda of a pain to do each one individually when I've just spent time putting it onto my own calender.... Ideally I'd like something that will synch my ical to my bb then that calender to my bbm group - is this possible????

You can publish your iCal through MobileMe and have your entire team subscribe to it. When you sync you'll get all the appointments.

The only alternate calendar I know if is Pocket Informant. I'm not a fan of it, but it is an alternative. What I'm really waiting for is for Pimlico to create DateBK for BlackBerry. Unfortunately I may be waiting a while as they have no plans to do so.

You can do that if you use Google Calendar. You can link your iCal to Google and sync the Google Calendar (which should be a duplicate of your iCal at that point) wirelessly.
