Hi Guys i need to pick your brains, i currently have an iphone but wanting to swap it for a Blackberry curve 8300 i am with 02 PAYG, and have been told if i stay with PAYG i wont be able to use the internet and wont be able to send picture messages either, unless i am on contract which i dont want to be!

If i buy a Unlocked/simfree 8300 will this still be the case? and is this problem with just o2 or is the same with other networks???

If you want to use data type features(surf, email, bbm, mms), you must have a BB data plan. Doesn't matter which carrrier.

So how do i get a data plan and how much does it cost and is it a one off payment?

You would need a contract or Simplicity SIM Only plan from O2 which includes their Blackberry Bolt-on.
O2 do not offer Blackberry bolt-ons on PAYG.
It depends on the plan, and is a monthly fee.

Ultimately, call O2.
