I recently upgrade my bb storm os to 5.0. A few days ago my screen started acting up. Pressing one area would highlight a completely different area. I uninstall all of my third party apps, thinking they were interfering with the device. Did all the usual shebangs... pull battery, clean screen, clear some of the databases etc. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Try this, got to Options, Language and Text Input and change it from English to English (United States) or vice versa. I had the same problem and this seem to fix it. Crazy, but it worked.

I just tried that, but its still acting up. the thing is if I do a battery pull it works for a while.. then it starts going crazy again. I want to throw it in the wall... maybe that will do the trick.

I'm having the same issues. I even downgraded to 4.7 but I am still pulling the battery at least 3 times a day. I clear the cache, I pull the battery than hold down green button for 30 seonds and reinstall the battery. Nothing works. I think I'll either go to the Bold or AT&T. Verizon customer service was useless and after I nagged them for over a week, they got nasty.
