Email Setup - only 1 option showing
I'm just setting up my BB Bold 9000 today, never owned one before but I'm very happy that I don't own a Windows phone anymore.
When I run the email setup wizard there is one option 'I want to use a work email account with a Blackberry Enterprise Server'.
I thought there was supposed to an an option that says 'I want to create or add an email address' right above it? It doesn't appear to be hidden (ie up or down the screen) so I was wondering if when my IT guy was looking at connecting me to our BES (which he didn't) he may have turned the option off somehow...?
Any hints, help, suggestions very welcome!
Do you have a BB data plan activated on the account?
I've just discovered the data account wont be active till my next billing date, on the 15th.
So fingers crossed my problem shall resolve itself then.

Ditto. Either you are not paying for BIS, or you are and it service books have not been pushed to your blackberry.
Great. Not a problem, will be able to access Gmail through the app, unlimited web access changes to BIS on the 15th.
Still happy it's not a Windows Mobile.
