Question Phone +24*2222**...

Please Login to Remove!

I am new user, deaf, no company behind me. I know you wonder why a deaf person wants to be able to use the phone - right? Actually I wanted to text message someone; but when I click on the phone icon this above #24*2222**... comes up. I cannot get rid of it. When I click I get call and that hnumber, SMS and that number, or MMS and that number; How do I get rid of this thing?

The way you describe it, almost sounds like it is an address book entry. Open your address book and see if its there, if so delete it.

You should be able to delete it from the phone screen as well. When you click on it, one of the options should be to delete.

Last idea would be to use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager Backup and Restore feature. Open Backup and Restore, select Advanced. Scroll down the list, on the device database side. Select Phone Call Logs and press Clear.

I always wondered how to clean out my phone logs, and now I know - thanks!

You can also do it I think by going into the e-mail screen and changing your folder to Call Log (or something like that) and then highlighting the date and clicking and selecting delete prior.

I do not know if you are aware of this site and the program that you can load in your Blackberry free of charge.

It is called IP-Relay and this is their site you might want to look at it, and I hope you can find it useful.
