After working for months, my BB Tour and Outlook are not syncing properly. It's set for 2-way sync, and everything syncs properly except the Calendar. The calendar will only transfer from Outlook to BB. It does not transfer anything from BB to Outlook Calendar.



I assume this is a problem with the BB, because I also sync this BB with a 2nd computer, although that one is set for 1-way sync from BB to comp#2 (as a backup). That is no longer syncing either.



Any suggestions appreciated!

Are you on BES?

Try a battery pull on the BB?

Reconfigure the sync within DM?

And do you have a Tour (96xx) or an 8703e as your profile states. If you have moved to a new device, please update your profile. It helps to know which device you have if and when you ask a question.

I have a Tour. And no, I'm not on BES.

Check your settings in Desktop Manager and make certain that it is set to sync the calender.

does the standard calendar do a wireless sync on a BIS? Thought not.

It does not AFAIK. If you use Google Calendar sync then it does.

The first thing Anyone "MUST DO" when upgrading exchange is to re implement security for BESAdmin account. Its essential becuase Exchange 2007 works a bit differnt and the BESAdmin user does not move accross 100%.

This is a major reason for calender not sync from BB device because the BESADmin does not have security to write events to users calender.

This is what solved our problem.

However, I did contact Blackberry Advance support and they suggested these two KB's read
