Default voice navigation for blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Have tried life in pocket and when it works its so so. would like to find one that works as well as the gps on blackberry maps

The problem with nav when your BB is in your pocket is that the device doesn't get a good lock on GSP satellites. Telenav is a paid solution that has been a leader for mobile devices. Most free solutions suck.

Just a note that "Life in Pocket" is the name of an application. But the rest still applies. Most free solutions are hit and miss.

If you dont want turn by turn directions, I found BB maps better than Telenav. and a lot faster to draw maps. I lost BB maps when ATT desided to lock it out on my BB. I have Telenav now. BB maps does not have voice output

For $10 a month one can get vz navigator from verizon. bb maps is fine for directions as is google maps but wanted to goive away my gps
