which one do you use and why?

friends are telling me that i need a skin for it but i am not sure if i should just get a case instead.
i would probably carry it in my purse. what would my boyfriend do? do men get cases?

I just use a skin I bought off of ebay that was relatively cheap, combined with a screen protector, does the trick. Keeps the device nice and slim too.

Really depends on you. If you carry it in your purse in a pocket, you probably don't need a case. If you just dump it in your purse along with everything else, you may need some sort of case. I carry mine in a pocket in my purse -- my personal one has an Incipio Ultra Light but that's just for looks. My work one is bare.
