Default Blackberry Server

I am installing a blackberry server for the first time. I wanted to get a general consensus on where everyone thinks this installation should go. It's own server, Exchange 2003 Server, Db server, etc. I havent' found too much on where people have found to be the best place to put the server.

My opinion: own its own server; Windows 2000 server or higher. Definitely not on the Exchange server (if you have to reboot the BES, Exchange comes down) and as physically close to the Exchange server as possible. With v3.6 you can use MSDE or SQL Server, with 4.0 SQL Server is recommended.

Also RIM does not support installations on the Exchange server.
