| Contacts from Microsoft Outlook Business Contact Manager can be copied into a sub folder within Microsoft Outlook Contacts and synchronized using BlackBerry Desktop Manager. For instructions on how to map to this new folder.
Note: Changes made to information in Microsoft Outlook Business Contact Manager are not reflected to the sub folder created in Microsoft Outlook Contacts.
To synchronize a subfolder using BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.5 to 5.0 SP1, complete the following steps:
Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Click Synchronize.
On the left hand side select Synchronization under the configure option.
Then select Synchronization.
Check Address Book and click Advance.
Select Map Folder.
Click to Expand your mailbox.
Click to Expand contacts.
Select the subfolder and click Add.
Click OK to return to the Advance window.
Click OK until you return to the Synchronize window.
Select the Synchronize, check Synchronize organizer data and then click Synchronize.
Note: Choosing the main contact folder and checking the box to include subfolders will also synchronize subfolders.
To synchronize a subfolder using BlackBerry Desktop Manager version 4.2, complete the following steps:
Open BlackBerry Desktop Manager.
Click Synchronize.
Select the Configuration tab and then select Configure sync.
Check Address Book and click Choose.
Select Microsoft Outlook and click Browse.
Click to Expand your mailbox, select Contacts and then click Add.
A window will appear prompting you to add subfolders, click OK.
Click OK until you return to the Synchronize window.
Select the Synchronize tab, check Synchronize organizer data and then click Synchronize now.
