Default Need to know if the 7520 prompts you on password enable.

Please Login to Remove!

I bought my 7520 used and want to use the password enabled feature. Im not sure if the orig. owner has changed any default passwords on the unit. I need to know if it will prompt me for a password apon enabling the feature or will it just lock the phone. Also what is the default password if there is any.

Thanks again for your help.

You will be prompted for a password when you enable security. Regardless if one was established previously and security was turned off.

There is no "default" password.

Either way, if this hasn't been done already, I would recommend doing a "wipe" and starting over (to ensure any personal info from the previous owner is removed). Options, security, (click trackwheel) and select Wipe Handheld.
