Default Status of Google-verse as a replacement for hosted BES?

Is there a concise summary of the status of using the Google-verse with BIS as a replacement for a hosted BES?

Specifically:
- Does BIS support true IMAP yet?
- If not, does gmail get pushed to the BB inbox, or do would I need the gmail app?
- Does Google calendar have true two-way sync with the native BB calendar?
- Any way to sync contacts between Google and BB?
- Any way to sync notes and tasks?

Last time I trialed a BB (about a year ago), none of this worked as well as Activesync on a Windows Mobile phone. I've tried searching around these forums for answers, but I'm not savvy enough to pick out what's real and what's not from all the posts, so I'm hoping there's a summary somewhere.

Thanks.

1. Not exactly. Though 2-way sync is in effect I believe.
2. Yes, you can have emails pushed to BB inbox with BIS anyway.
3. Only by using the google sync app.
4. Yes, BIS can integrate that now, though there have been reports of duplicate contacts.
5. Nope.

Does this populate the BB native calendar or a separate one? Also, I know the BB allows time zone selection while gcal does not - how is that handled?

Native calendar to google calendar, google calendar to native calendar.

No idea about that, sorry.
