Ok so on tuesday morning my precious baby fell in the toilet my bb 8520 that is. I took it out wiped it off n i didn't know so i placed the battery back inside n the screen was dark so i took it out, i had to be at work so i had it in my locker for about 5 hrs battery and sim out. I then went home and placed in rice for like a day and a half but ever since then whenever i turn it on my screen is half white and half blue. Can someone help me? is my bb gone forever?

Yes, possibly

You may have killed it from the moment it got dunked.
Or you may have shorted something when u placed the battery back in before trying the rice bag.

If you're lucky, maybe its just the screen that you need to worry about.
