Ok I am pulling my hair out. our group at work just got the 7290's on BES. I am the computer geek of the group and everyone comes to me. I can not figure out how to make the BB not show sent email confirmations (check mark next to sent email) on the inbox. I know the ALT-i work around but this is a temporary thing. I am running 4.0.0.219 software Can anyne help? I really search on this forum but cant find the exact answer. I am no noob to forums but I am a noob to this forum and blackberries. I yield to your expertise. Thanks!

First, it's not an Inbox, it's the Message application. All messages are shown there until either filed or saved with the appropriate Hide options set. Secondly, Why would you want to hide the checkmarks, it's how you tell that it's an outgoing message.

Do you mean you want to not show messages sent from the blackberry? Or is it that you want to prevent emails sent from the PC from showing up on the Blackberry?

Hope this helps, but I doubt it as I didn't really understand your problem.

There is really only one thing you can do that I can think of.

Messages > Options > Email Settings > Press Scroll Wheel, select Folder Redirection > Expand folder > Uncheck Sent folder.

This will keep messages sent from the email client from showing up on the BlackBerry. Messages sent from the BB will still show up in the messages ribbon with a check next to it.
