Default AOL Mail reply problem

Please Login to Remove!

I need to fix an email problem on someone's blackberry ASAP. The problem is that when she replies to someone's email the original text does not appear in the reply email she sends. So the person who receives her reply does not know what she is referring to.

Thanks a lot!

Your user is doing something to either delete the original or is not doing a reply but sending a new message.

Overview
When replying to an email it is not possible to modify the original text. This is by design.

Because the email is stored on the mail server and may not have been entirely transferred to the BlackBerrysmartphone, the email message on the mail server will be used as part of the reply.

Additional Information
If you do not wish to have the original text as part of the email it is possible to remove it. To remove the original text from your reply, perform the following steps:

In the email messages screen, click the trackwheel or trackball and choose Reply.

Click the trackwheel or trackball and choose Delete Original Text.
