Default Is there a network analyzer for BB?

Are there any programs that will allow me to see the MNC, tower ID, etc. that my 7290 is connected to?

Thanks.

Is there software that you can install for this purpose? Yes. Is it publicly available? No.

Try this, however: In the phone application, dial #4357*, then hit Enter. Not sure if this works on the 7290 (don't have one handy to test)...but it may give you some info.
