Default Storm doing its own thing.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi

I currently have the Storm 9500, as of yesterday it began dialing the first person on the contact list, my call button doesnt respond, the right side key goes to contact list instead of tasks, everytime I push the return key it brings up the contact list.

the send recieve indicator on the top right side of the screen seems to be sending recieving more than normal

I have backed up the device from a previous date and rebooted, this has not fixed the problem.

if anyone could help with this issue that would be appreciated.

regards jeff

Have you possibly exposed the device to moisture? Even a sweaty pocket or humid shower room have been reported to cause problems.

How long has this been happening for? If it just started, Ira is probably correct. If its been going on for a while, could be the OS. Have you tried reloading the OS?

Hi Thank you for your response.

The phone was exposed to moisture I didn't think it would have been much as it was in my pocket. If this is the case how is it corrected or is it a permanent fault?

Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Next time, the number one rule with moisture is remove to battery ASAP.
