Default BB 8100 Keystore Password

What is a keystore password? Why is my BB requesting one to change settings for me? I have a pin and a password on my phone, but these did not satisfy the request. Also, I did not set pin code messages, yet it is enabled for some reason and will not disable.

Key Store password are digital certificates, if your desktop manager has the certificate synch in there, you will be prompted for the key store password to sync any digital certificates. Most like you ignore it or just set it to match your password. (that is what I do) If you ever have to use digital certificates you will need the password but if don't then do not worry too much about it.

Where did you get this BlackBerry from? Is their an IT Policy on it?
