The best way to test if you have a bb data plan on your bb is to send yourself a PIN message. Go to Options, Status and copy your pin. Then go to messages, compose PIN and paste your PIN and send it.
If you are able to receive the PIN message on your bb then you have the correct data plan. If not, then call Rogers and have them enable the BlackBerry BIS data plan. It is usually more expensive then an iphone plan. If you want your bb to work on an enterprise server as well, then you'll need to enable the BIS and BES data plan.
