I just checked out the thread, dated 2005, concerning tethering a blackberry device to a notebook computer. I noticed that all of the highlighted links took me to sites other than those concerned with the content of the posts. I will never return to this site and will warn all of the blackberry users (2000+) at my company of the deceptive tactics used by this site to drive traffic to other sites.
Seriously? A thread 5 years ago? I guess technology doesn't change in that extremely short amount of time.

Let me get this straight. Some douche bag comes along and resurrects discussions from 4 years ago and is honked off because the links are dead? He couldn't find a more recent discussion of tethering either? And now he's so incensed that we didn't take him by the hand and teach him how to leech a paid service for free that he's launching his own personal jihad against this site?
To the OP I say, "thank you" for leaving and never coming back. And another thank you for steering all your dope friends away too (all two of them, I'm sure).
That's a bit harsh rambo, but I agree. Its 5 years old..... And if you read the desktop software, it tells u u can tether with it. Your carrier will tell you to.... Soo, reading is very helpful in this situation.....
