Angry blackberry 8520 just stays at UPLOADING RAM IMAGE forever

Please Login to Remove!

I tried upgrading my OS and the next i get is an error code saying upload software 507. and now my my phone just stays at uploading RAM image for the past 1 hour. please help me how can i reload my OS safely. pls anyone who can help can also email me @ [email address]

You are leaving some info out.



The 507 error means no device software (no OS). You say you had that after trying to upgrade the OS. Do you know where the upgrade failed, or if you messed it up somehow? You'll want to figure that out and avoid the error when you try again.



What happened or what did you do between the 507 error situation and the situation you have now?



Long story short, you'll need to wipe the device and then install the OS.

I am having a similiar problem.
I dont get the error message.
It is just stuck at "uploading ram image" with the bar at 100%
I am using windows XP on parallels 5 for mac.
What should I do?
I am afraid of removing the blackberry from the in fear of corrupting data.
Any advice?
