Default Potential new BB user needs help

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all

As a current Win Mo user I'm looking to move to a Bold 9700. Mainly this is for the eay of syncing with Lotus Notes (work) which is a real pain with everything else (WinMo/Android/Iphone).

I'm on UK T-Mobile and can upgrade easily enough but wondered if anyone knows how much rubbish T-Mo puts on to BB devices and what problems it casuses. Am I better buying a non T-Mo 9700?

Thanks all

All carriers send service book items that put junk icons on the phone. They are not part of the OS. If you delete them, the carrier will re-send them at some point. Happens to ALL BlackBerry phones. So even an unbranded 9700, will still receive the service books from t-mobile. The solution is simply to hide the icons and the problem goes away.

The above it true, however, at the time I had my BB from t-mobile UK, they were not pushing service books "crap". Unlike att, t-mobile US, who across this forum have documented users wanting to get rid of links to games and apps; t-mobile UK were not pushing such things.

Please note, you will need the Blackberry Booster (to get blackberry fucntionality) as well as an unlimited internet booster/part of plan on t-mobile UK to get all data and internet access.
