Default Address Book Synchronization

Please Login to Remove!

Hello,

We have BES 4.0.3 Domino, and I cannot seem to get the address book to synchronise wirelessly. The device is a 7100v.

If I add a contact in Lotus Notes 6.5 then after about 24 hours the contact will be added wirelessly to the blackberry. However it does not add them to Notes from the Blackberry.

Anybody experienced this?

I had a client that had the same problem with their exchange server and by looking at the logs it looked like a permissions problems. I got the client to check the permissions and everything was set as it was supposed to and since we'd tried everything under the sun we decided to try and reinstall the BES with a newly created account.
I'm not very familiar with Lotus though. Have you checked the logs? I normally do a search for words like "error" etc.

If it is just one user and not affecting others. I'd remove the account from the BES, erase everything on the phone and re-add it.

All users were affected in my case. We did test the old add/remove user but to no avail.

Do you mean that when you add an entry into your Blackberry it does not show up in your personal address book in your Notes client?

If this is the case, while you are in your inbox, you must go to "actions-synchronize address book" and perform a synchronization.

Are you using a webmail client or Notes client when you are adding the entries that port to your BB after 24 hours?
