Default "push" calendar function

I am looking into purchasing a Blackberry (not sure of what model yet). I will need it to somehow integrate with my calendar on my computer at the office. I currently do not use a digital calendar but need to. I have Windows on the computer. Does the Blackberry have the capability of automatically updating my computer calendar as I input data? Alternately can you get the Blackberry to automatically update when someone in the office updates the computer's calendar?

Not natively on a BIS.

You can achieve this by installing Google Sync on both the BlackBerry and on the computer and having the BlackBerry sync with Google sync on the device and having Google Calendar Sync sync with Outlook on the computer.

You will have to set the Google Calendar Sync to sync fairly often to get it in "near real time".

You might also look into a hosted BES solution to get these functions natively.

Link2Exchange

ExchangeMyMail

Both these solutions require the BES data plan plus an additional monthly fee to the hosting company, but they give you the same connectivity you get on a corporate BES network.
