Default Viewing video recording on a BB Curve 8530

Please Login to Remove!

I record videos with my curve 8530 from the phone video camera
video is saved on micro SD card (16g)
But can't play them
Says "unable to read file format"
Like if it couldn't read the video it recorded itself!!!

help please...

Sounds like the sd card was not formatted in the BB. Try moving the files to a Pc then format the card. then try again. also make sure content protection is off.

To access the Content Protection option on BlackBerry® Device Software 4.7.x and lower, complete the following steps:

On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
Click Security Options.
Click General Settings.
Change the Content Protection option to Enabled or Disabled.
Click the trackwheel and select Save.
To access the Content Protection option on BlackBerry Device Software 5.0, complete the following steps:

On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, click Options.
In the Options menu, navigate to Security Options.
In Security Options, choose Encryption.
Change the Encryption mode Enabled or Disabled.
Press the Menu key and click Save.
