Default email setup problem

hi all. i recently purchased my blackberry 2nd hand. love the phon having a few problems setting up an email account tho :S been through the instructions in the book and when i go thru the email setup page it sais one of the first options there should be 2 choices of account to choose from... however i only have one option of the work email account with a blackberry enterprise server???

please help me someone. many thanks

just read on another thread about data plans? could this be the problem? im new to all this. my internet seems to be working fine and my fb? not tried bm yet tho.

help me please ppl

You must have a BB data plan for email and any other RIM related service.

And please update your profile to show your cell carrier. That can be helpful in troubleshooting.

How do you do what? Get a BB data plan? Call your cell carrier and have them add it. Will cost extra - ATT and Verizon charge $30 a month. Since we have no clue what carrier you have, we cannot speculate on cost.

Once they add it to your account you can log into the Vodafone BIS site and get the service books you'll need. Then all the BlackBerry data services will work.
