Unhappy General Socket Error

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys,I'm a BB newby.Just got my 8330 2 months ago.Although I do know many things about it,it seems there are a million more things to know about this phone. To me this is a Multimedia Master.I've had many many phones and by far, this is the most well organized and has many features that help us avoid ever having to say "I wish my phone could do this" or "I hate it when is does that".Anyways,I'm hoping u guys can help me with my problem. My friend has Slacker Radio on his BB Storm which I think is awesome and is a must have for BB owners,so I downloaded it along with other apps.I currently have 4 apps on my home screen that give me the same 'general socket error'.I've looked up and down the internet and I cannot find a solution. Please help.

Formatting is key to getting people to asnwer. Made my brain hurt to read it and to space it so i could read it.

Anyways, what are the other apps with the error? Im guessing other streaming radio apps.

The error is because metropcs doesnt allow streaming audio or video

TheRinger You have other than a Blackberry on your id and no pin except “What’s a pin? Lol” I wonder why you even bother to reply to legitimate posts from people asking for help. The first thing you do is criticize the OP’s post and proceed to correct the OP with something to help your brain. I would suggest you look at your own brain because this is not the way to offer advise.

The error message you are getting can be caused by many things. It is generally caused by the browser no understanding a portion of the data it is expected to read or an application having the same issue. In most cases there is no easy fix.
