Default Help on old 7100V - software update

Please Login to Remove!
I to all, a friend give me an old 7100v BB.
In info screen there is:
v3.8.0.128 (platform 1.8.0.91)
kernel v3.8.0.18.

There is an update for this device?Just to not throw it in garbage.
I try with desktop manager but no update retrived...

Looks like Rim still has an upgrade available. you need to visit the web site directly to see if you can download at least 4.1.

RIM also runs the blackberry data services. Look up BES and BIS.

Be aware that if you want to use the fundamental blackbbery data apps such as push email, you must have a blackberry data plan on your account. No blackberry data plan means no blackberry branded data services.

Drop down box, go down and select 7100V, click next, the next page will show the OS that you are looking for.
