Question Dropped my Blackberry Pearl and now it won't turn on?

Please Login to Remove!

Well, I'm a rather clumsy person. I haven't even had my Blackberry Pearl for two months and I broke it, it seems. It fell out of my hands when I was walking, not really that hard of a fall, considering it's taken worse and seemed just fine.
It won't turn on now, though. I've tried removing the battery for a few minutes and replacing it, charging it, just leaving it alone for awhile... it makes no difference.
Weird thing about it, though: The red light blinks on for a few moments every once in a while. The no-battery screen also comes on when I put it on the charger sans the battery. And my computer recognizes a USB device, but the phone doesn't turn on. The computer keeps beeping in the way that means a USB device is connected, but then it beeps again shortly after meaning it disconnected.
I don't really know what to do now... Any help would be appreciated, and I'm sorry if I left out something important. ^^;

it appears you have tried all of the remedies others would suggest here. i would talke it to a local phone repair shop and get their opinion. these phones are tough, but the right fall can cripple even the sturdiest of products.

Are you sure the battery is charged?
