Post Question regarding 3G and BlackBerry Service

Please Login to Remove!

Hello people...
i'm having a question regarding the internet browsing with blackberry.
i'm holding a Storm2 device, and my sim card is not subscribed to any blackberry service, i just have the ordinary 3G data package, before i had a nokia E71 and with the data package i could browse internet and read my emails... when i put my sim card to Storm2, in the right top corner it says 3G, but when i open the browser and type a url, it says that it needs to be connected to a wi-fi network... what i want to know, is that is it possible to browse internet with ordinary 3G data package (not blackberry internet service) on my Storm2 device? if so, please tell me how...
i know that it is possible other way around, i.e. browsing on my nokia with sim card that is subscribed to blackberry service...

appreciating your help in advance...

No, you need a blackberry data plan.

Please read the FAQ at What do I need a Data Plan for? - BlackBerryFAQ

Blackberries don't work exactly like other devices and the referenced FAQ will tell you what requires a BLACKBERRY data plan vs. what you can do with a generic data plan.

Exactly Sidekicks and blackberries need their Respective data service in order to use the service on the phone, not an ordinary regular data service.
