Default Random Deactivation of BB PIN numbers

Please Login to Remove!

We've been experiencing random deactivation of BB PIN numbers. To date, we've had over 30 BB's become deactivated. I've had to contact my vendor Cingular twice in the last week and provide them a text file of PIN numbers for them to reactivate.

They alluded to a known problem at RIM that was causing the deactivations. Is anyone else aware of this problem or recently experiencing this problem.

We are running BES 3.6.2.14. We've obviously not made any recent changes and the service has been running flawlessly until this problem began on December 23rd.

Yes, this is a known issue that Cingular is addressing with its billing system. Apparently, any change to an account will deactivate the PIN with RIM. No ETA on a fix, but they are aware and it is top priority.
