Default internet & instant messaging help

Please Login to Remove!

My Daughters Blackberry 8520 Curve can no longer get on the internet or use Instant messaging, is there a way to reset this or any easy way to check whats up with this, if she trys to go on face book for example it just says refreshing for ages then no connection avaliable

she's only had it 5 weeks

Any help gratefully accepted cause she's driving me mad:cry

Have you tried removing the battery, while the device is on, and waiting 30 seconds before re-inserting and starting the Curve. If not, try that as the first step.

If that doesn't work, then you probably need to resend the Service Books.

If that doesn't work, contact the carrier to see if there is a tower issue.
