Default Help. I sold my 7100t unlocked and the guy can't use BIS with cingular.

Please Login to Remove!

I purchased a new bb and set my tmobile BIS account to use it. The guy I sold my 7100t to gets:

Account Set-up

The PIN and ESN/IMEI you have provided are already associated with an
account within our system.

Please ensure you have proceeded to the proper service provider's activation
site, as specified within the provided documentation.

If I call tmobile can they fix this. That pin is no longer associated with my tmobile BIS account.

Thanks

You may need to call TMo and have them release the PIN and IMEI of the device from your account. Did you setup a new BIS account? If so the old may be active. You will have to make the call as the previous owner to have all info cleared and released. It happens my wife's old 7100t was unlocked as well but same issue when setting up on the Rogers BWC, previous user made the call and had all the info release for her user. All systems go after that.

call TMO support. If they are lacking in the support dept then have them get RIM on the phone with you. RIM can release it very quickly

Got on the phone with Rim and they contacted tmobile and the guy said it has been relased but I still get the same error when trying to use it with Cingular BWC.

If you got on the phone with RIM, why can't you provide them with PIN and IMSI and tell them to set account on Cingular BWC- and see what error message they'll get?

You can also ask RIM to escalate it to their internal support groups.
