Default HELP!! Switching from BB to HTC Evo

Please Login to Remove!

Hello and thanks in advance. Here is my situation i am switching from a BB 8320 to the HTC Evo. So my two concerns are

1. My blackberry.net email my work uses and uses often. I read everyone saying not to use this account but i didnt have a choice because this is the account they ask for. So is there a way to forward this email to another accout? It was a total pain to set up and wanted to see if there was another option. Fixing this issue is the more important one because it may be the difference of me having to carry a new pager and a phone or just a phone. So you can see why it high on the list.

2. Are there any Android apps that tie into the BB functions?

Thanks
Nick

Your @blackberry.net email address will go away as soon as you terminate your BlackBerry Data plan. You will no longer have any access to it.

And that is one of the main reasons NOT to use it. Wish there was a better solution for you.

You can leave the BB active for a while and do an auto reply with the new email address.

Sounds like you really need a BlackBerry. Why switch? You cannot get BlackBerry apps like BBM on anything but a real BlackBerry.

Some phones used to be able to use something called BlackBerry Connect to get BlackBerry services, but it was only available on select devices (like the Nokia E72 and E90), but it's been discontinued and is long gone. No new versions have been issued in about 5 years.
