Default New Blackberry, downloading apps

Please Login to Remove!

i have just got a new blackberry 8520. I am having trouble being able to download apps i.e. facebook. i can get on to google etc. just keeps saying download failed.

i do have a wireless connection (Netgear), have absolutely no idea how to connect to it :/.

Help would be very much appreicated!

You need to have a BlackBerry Data Plan from your carrier/network/service provider in order to use BlackBerry Data features.

1 did you follow the Download &Instalation instructions
2,on wifi go to settings in your phone and connect to your home Router
3,put in the password
4 now it should be set up for wifi.

App World has been very flakey of late. I have had problems with downloads failing in mid-download, necessitating my quitting App World and restarting it. It's hit-or-miss and is probably network related.
