Default Multiple copies of emails

Please Login to Remove!

I am a Cingular WebClient using a BB 8700c ( I just switched from a 7280 to the 8700 yesterday but experienced the same problem on the 7280). I have recently started receiving multiple (usually 3) copies of external emails on my BB. I only receive one copy of the email in my Outlook inbox but my BB and the Cingular/Blackberry email website will show the email multiple times. My network consultants are stumped as to the reason for this occuring. I do not use Redirector but have all of my email forwarded (at the server level) to my Cingular/Blackberry account. Has anyone experienced a similar situation or does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. Again, I am not a Network Guy just a fairly tech savy Investment Guy so please go easy on me.

Thanks!

IF you are forwarding, then on the webclient, do you also have the emails listed as being polled? If so, you would get 2 of each mail. When forwarding you do not list the email addresses on the webclient, except under the 'sent-from' address.

I do not have the email polled. I have been a BB user for about 18 mos and this problem started about a month ago. I have not changed my profile on the Webclient (except yesterday when I changed my Handheld Device). I think the problem may have to do with our network but the network guys want to think it is a Blackberry problem. There are only two BB users at our company and we are both experiencing this problem. Another employee uses a Treo and Snapper Mail and he does not have this problem. I know the BB and Treo are very different in the way they process email but I just want to paint as clear of picture of my situation as possible.

Thanks.

If your email is forwarded by the server in your organization, tell your network guys talk to RIM network guys, with SMTP logs in hand.
Without going through SMTP logs on both sender and recipient side this issue can not be resolved quickly.
