Hey Everyone,

I have a bold 9700 (the new one) on the Rogers network and my company uses BES (not sure of the version).

I was travelling on vacation out of the country and thought I could use my BB on wifi mode to get my personal email, facebook and BBM. This using WiFi and not the carrier because of roaming charges.

It was working fine until this morning suddenly I was not able to do anything. I have great Wifi reception but the Wifi logo is grayed out and I cannot access anything any more.

I went to check the status of the services and it says that BES: not connected. I think, this is the cause.

Is there anyway I can bypass BES and use internet services until I get back home? I just want to be able to check gmail, facebook and use BBM.
