Default Help! BlackBerry 9000 Suddenly Won't Completely Turn On

Please Login to Remove!

My BB 9000 has worked perfectly fine until out of the blue the other day, it shut off and hasn't turned on yet.
Even when on the charger for hours, it displays a white screen with the busy clock as though it is in the process of booting. However, it then goes to black and the red light comes on for a few seconds before it repeats the same pattern.
I doubt that it's any kind of wear and tear or water damage because it seemed to work perfectly fine until recently.

Please help! It's out of warranty and I'm not sure I can afford a new phone right now!

Is it possible that this could be a battery problem even though it's been on the charger?
