Default Help Blackberry as Hybrid Desktop Phone?

Please Login to Remove!

I have 12 free hours with my mobile carrier so its time to start using them.
I have been looking at ways to use it in the office, so far I have found some good headsets such as plantronics and obvioulsy the others.

But what I need is some way to use the phone with either a special desk phone which connected to it
Or use a headset but with a seperate number keypad to allow to dialing more often ( big fingers little keys gets frustrating)

Did a search and I cant find anything does anyone know of anything like this?

Cheers

Cellphones are designed as mobile devices and have not yet really become a landline replacement for business use. I'm sure it will happen, but for now a bluetooth headset is about the best you're going to get.

ATT does have a service that when the cell is plugged into a special base all calls are routed to the landline. Not sure how may people use the service .
It was developed for areas that have poor service.
Thats the only thing I know that uses a standard phone.

Nathanmobile - I have been looking for the same thing since I use my blackberry for as my main phone. My fingers are to big and clumsy to dial quickly using those little itty bitty numbers on my Blackberry tour. They do have the blue tooth keyboards that have numbers at the top. I sent a request to Freedom which is the company that makes a lot of the Blackberry accessories that you find on Crackberry.com. Who knows, maybe they will make one for you and me!

Have a look at Blurts Pro. If I understand your request correctly this is exactly what it does plus you can sms from your desktop as well.
