Hey guys....so my wife has a blackberry and i heard that if you type in the password so many times that at the end it just says...type "blackberry"...so i was trying to show her that and I got all the way to the final attempt and it said wiping....YIKES!! so we took out the battery asap....but now it won't turn on....i'm not sure what kind of blackberry it is or what the error # was but I can get them when she gets home....I just need to know what to do so she won't be mad anymore haha!! PLEASE help!! thanks..

You erased your wife's BlackBerry. Pulling the battery out during the wipe most likely resulted in your turning the device into a brick.

I would suggest flowers, chocolate and a nice dinner cooked by you.
Hopefully you don't burn dinner like you did to the BlackBerry.

Your device is probably ok. The info on it is gone for good. Hopefully you had a backup. Look in the sites FAQ section on how to install the device OS then restore her backup along with a very sincere apology.

And then, keep yo' cotton pickin' hands offen her Blackberry. Unless you want her to erase all your data.

thanks for the advice hahaha....you have no idea how much i've apologized!!!! i feel horrible....but i'll try the advice and hopefully it will work...thanks!!

well i can't get anything off the FAQ..Does anyone on here know how to install the device OS haha..you must understand..I am not an owner of a blackberry..my wife is..so i don't understand A LOT of this haha....

I'm amazed that anyone would "try" to find the word blackberry and not realize somethings going to happen especially during password entry.
