Exclamation email probs

Please Login to Remove!

Just bought an 8520 model.

Set up my email account via the BB.

Emails sent to me are received OK on both my server and the BB.

However if I reply to an email from BB the reply does not come up on my server, unless I put my email address as a CC on the BB.

Also deleting an email from BB using "On Mailbox and Handheld" deletes it from BB but not my server.

Any advice would be most welcome, int plain language if poss as I am no tech buff!

Sounds like it's working as designed. Sent mail and message deletions don't reconcile from handheld to desktop for all email services.
Who is your email provider?

No idea what that is. How do you access your email? Is it via POP3?
The link I provided above shows the reconciliation features for various email providers.

Yes I have a POP3 account that accesses all my emails.
Checked your KB but Tiscali not listed on it.

It wouldn't be listed. It comes under "Post Office Protocol 3 (POP3)"
Also note, deletions of mail from BB to server, take a while to actually happen.
And no, sent mail from the BB will not appear in sent mail on your server.
