First question: Do you have a blackberry data plan?

It is a data plan specific for blackberrys. Either bundled with your voice service or an add-on to your voice plan.

Sounds like maybe you have the data plan. Did you add those other emails using the setup wizard on the device, or at the verizon website?

The wizard on the BlackBerry may prompt you to set up a @vzw.blackberry.net address. But if not, calling verizon is a good idea.

I set them up using the wizard but it never prompted me to set up a blackberry e-mail. Thaks again for your help. Last question, as I am new to all of this. How do I find my questions on this forum? Is there a link that takes me to see what I posted and who's replied. I keep going to new posts to get back to this. Thanks again!

You can go into the forum settings and set it to automatically subscribe you to threads you start or respnd to. Or, manually subcribe to a thread when you want. Then, go to User CP and view your subscribed threads when you want.

A point to add to your database - some of us do not recommend using that address or account for 3 main reasons:

1. If it gets "harvested", you will get more email than you care to receive since it is totally unfiltered and uncontrolled.

2. The ONLY way to read mail coming to that account is on the BB itself, so when there is a data outage, that account is dead. There is no webmail option.

3. When you switch carriers, you cannot take that account with you. Once you cancel BIS, it is gone for good.

Great post Dubdub. I will only reinforce that the carrier address is sacred. If you are not using attachments and need your email faster, I have seen people use it as part of a forwarding rule which I wouldn't recommend
