Default best website for driving directions? (for blackberry)

Please Login to Remove!

I would like to know if there is any good websites for driving directions on blackberry.

On my laptop I usually use www.mapquest.com but it is impractical for blackberry (unless there is some option to be enabled that I don't know of). Any suggestion?

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7100i/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/103 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

I know mapquest recently changed there PDA website to something totally different. I would just do a google search for it. Also what provider are you with? If Nextel we have Telenav! pink

I always use Yahoo maps and driving directions on my PC. The Blackberry mobile version isn't bad on Yahoo, but I can never get my saved locations to work right.

There is no better program to receive directions than Telenav on the Blackberries! It is $10.00/month and Nextel billed. It gives you audible directions, estimates mileage and time!!! Once you get closer to your destination it zooms in and gives surrounding roads and where you are!

Google finally released google local for blackberry devices. I am using it with Cingular and an 8700c and it works very well.

Excellent application--and it's free. I'm using it with my Bell 7250 (with BES) in Canada...and it provides Canadian directions without any issues.

I read at Howard Forums that it the 7290 version works on the 7250 and 8700. Go to www.google.com/glm.

I found this posted somewhere on this forum... if I remember correctly a user here created this page for their BB and posted here to let the public use it.

www.zypd.com

I find it extremely useful. I believe it uses AAA for its directions service.

zypd.com is quite cool, and the new google local is also quite cool - I suggest we all enjoy them both!

(and no, if you have Cingular and are on the data plan it does not cost you anything.)

Wirelessly posted (7250/4.0.0.204: BlackBerry7250/4.0.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1)

I've found that different apps have strong and weak points that suit particular mapping and directions situations. The three I use are:

Berry411 (gives a nice directions summary pulled from Google Local)

BWMapQuest, www.bwconestoga.com/bwmapquest/ (links to MapQuest.com's "Download to PDA" formatted pages

And the new GoogleMaps for BlackBerry which works well on my 7250 on Bell Mobility's network without a BES.
